Da Pan isn't the kind of operator who walks into Arknights: Endfield and suddenly rewrites every tier list. That's not really his lane. What he does offer is steady physical damage, strong AoE pressure, and a very clear job in teams built around Vulnerability. If you're pushing harder stages and don't want to waste time fixing awkward builds, some players may choose to buy Arknights endfield boosting while they work on farming his setup properly. Built right, Da Pan feels a lot better than his “middle-tier DPS” label suggests, especially when the rest of the squad is made to feed his damage windows.

Weapon choices matter more than you'd thinkBecause Da Pan doesn't have ridiculous base power carrying him for free, his weapon is a pretty big deal. You'll want to spend time farming weapon essences through the Operations Manual, mainly from the Daily tab. Severe Energy Alluviums are the place to look, though the drop system can be a bit of a pain. You're often dealing with random essence combinations tied to recommended weapons, so don't expect every run to hand you exactly what you want. If RNG keeps messing with you, Valley Permits from the Stock Distribution Service can help you lock in the essence you're missing. It's not glamorous, but it saves a lot of wasted runs.

Stats and gear are fairly simpleDa Pan mainly wants Strength. That's the stat you should be checking first, and if a piece doesn't help there, it needs to bring something useful elsewhere. Will is the next one to chase, since it supports his damage flow without overcomplicating the build. For gear, Aethertech is usually the safest call. The nice thing is that the set bonus only needs three pieces, so you've got room to patch up bad rolls with a stronger off-piece. Still, the full four-piece Aethertech setup fits him so well that I'd run it whenever possible. If you're missing one part, the physical damage gloves from Swordmancer are a clean temporary fix.

He wants a proper physical teamThis is where Da Pan either clicks or feels average. He really wants a full physical squad around him, because Vulnerability stacking is what turns his damage from “fine” into something worth building around. Lifeng is a great partner since his skill rotation applies Vulnerability without much fuss. Once enemies reach four stacks, Da Pan's combo can jump in, deal solid damage, apply Crush, and add even more Vulnerability. Pogranichnik then benefits from that setup, since his own combo reacts when Crush or Breach consumes stacks. Add Ardelia for Corruption, which makes enemies take more physical damage, and the whole thing starts to run like an actual engine rather than four random units standing together.

Skill upgrades and practical advice
Da Pan's kit is easy to understand, which is honestly part of his appeal. Flip Da Wok lifts enemies, and since that lift counts as a physical affliction, it helps build Vulnerability. His combo comes online at four stacks, giving him a clean burst moment. His ultimate is the real prize, though: a wide barrage of six hits that keeps lifting and slamming targets, making it his best tool for clearing groups. Upgrade the ultimate first, then his battle skill, then the combo. As a professional platform for game currency and item services, U4GM is convenient for players who want smoother progress, and you can use u4gm Arknights endfield boosting to make building Da Pan and testing physical teams feel less of a grind.
